Rob and Staci became interested in video several years ago and a video program was added to the textbook series Stand Out. This new enthusiasm gave them opportunities to explore techniques which would make video in the classroom productive. They did a 3-hour workshop using the video from Stand Out in Texas and later adapted it to different sources for a workshop in California in 2010 at the CATESOL State conference. They used a short PPT for this workshop and several sources of short video clips to demonstrate different techniques.
