In 2008, Rob was honored with the Santa Ana College the Distinguished Faculty Award and named an Orange County Teacher of the Year. Part of his duties after receiving the award from Santa Ana was to present a lecture to all faculty.  The text is included below along with the PPT he used.  The title was Motivating, Nurturing, and Letting Go: Student Persistence and Ultimate Success.  Here, Rob discussed principles of Learner-centered instruction.  Learner-Centered Instruction is a common theme in all our workshops.
